Ashford Netball League

Ashford Netball League was formed in September 1958 by Mrs Eileen Tredwell and her committee.  Over the years the League played its matches on school courts, grass courts (at Victoria Park) and astroturf (at Ashford Hockey Club) before a collaboration with Kent County Council, Ashford Borough Council, Kent Youth Sevices, Christchurch School and the League led to the development of the Courtside facility in 2006.

The League is an England Netball Registered Member League and all participants must hold valid membership of England Netball.  Full cost of England Netball membership can be found here.

The League comprises a senior league and  junior league, each with its own committee.

Ashford Netball Senior League

The senior league plays matches at Courtside on a Monday and Tuesday evening at 18:30 and 19:55 all year.

There are two competitions during the year, with the Summer League being the primary competition. We have three divisions.

In the winter months we usually hold an indoor league on a Thursday evening for members of the outdoor league.
